Summer just wouldn't be the same without hitting the sands of the straits. Hanging out with the kids on the shorelines of Cecil Bay just outside of Mackinac City is one of our hot July pastimes, here are just a few pictures of summer fun from Lake Michigan.

Nicole and I spent our honeymoon on the beaches of Ka anapali Shores on the great island of Maui, Hawaii. From the hot sunny days, the beautiful sands, snorkeling and awesome sunsets, this was one hard beach to leave.

Home of one of the biggest celebrations on the beach in Michigan, attending the US Coast Guard Festival every year in August has been a true pastime of Nicole and I for several years. Here you'll find pictures of us at Grand Haven, and taking the boat out on Spring Lake and Lake Michigan.
